Baseball Recap: North Shelby Drops Highest Score of Season Against Westran

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Shelby). They were the clear victors by a 23-5 margin over the Westran Hornets on Monday. That's two games straight that the Raiders have won by exactly 18 runs.

Kaden Hunolt was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Gander, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

North Shelby now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Westran, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Looking ahead, North Shelby will face off against Scotland County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westran, they will take on Fayette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
