Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Sterling Rangers, falling 25-13. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-7 back in March.

Gia Graham and Tara Archibald stepped up to the plate in a big way. Graham went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Archibald scored two runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Jennifer Martinez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for Sterling, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-9-1.

As of now, neither Lee nor the Rangers have any future games scheduled.
