Football Recap: Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 2-8. They were beaten by the Hampton Hornets 48-14. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Hornets are ranked 89th).

When it comes to explaining why Eagle's Landing Christian Academy lost, don't look at Cason Carrigan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 68 yards and one TD.

As for Hampton, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hampton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tristan Parks, who threw for 180 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Parks has posted since back in October of 2024. Hampton also got a significant boost from Aiden Louis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hampton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kell at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Longhorns have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
