Cameron made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Greene, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Cameron put the hurt on West Greene with a sharp 9-3 victory on Friday. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered an 11-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Soier Reed, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zayde Long, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

The win got Cameron back to even at 1-1.

Cameron has already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Oak Glen on the 24th. As for West Greene, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Avella on the 24th.
