Bradshaw Christian put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sheldon Huskies an 11-0 shutout. The Pride have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Alex Crosno made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, Max Wolf and Evan Fujii-Sisler did most of the damage at the plate: Wolf scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-3, while Fujii-Sisler scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 1-for-3. Wolf also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brandon Burden, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Bradshaw Christian pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Sheldon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradshaw Christian will take on Wood at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Bradshaw Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 0.5 runs per game this season, so Wood's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sheldon, they will square off against Destiny Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheldon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
