Given St. Thomas Aquinas' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked first, while Somersworth are ranked 80th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Thomas Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Somersworth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9-1.

Coincidentally, St. Thomas Aquinas and Somersworth will both be playing White Mountains the next time they take the pitch. The Saints will host the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Toppers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
