Volleyball Recap: Corona Del Sol Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Leo Farnsworth and Evan Cornish

Corona del Sol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Hamilton Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in March.

Corona del Sol's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Evan Cornish, who had 15 digs and one assist, and Leo Farnsworth, who had two aces.

Corona del Sol's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Hamilton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-17.

Corona del Sol wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Brophy College Prep on the 22nd. As for Hamilton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Williams Field on the 19th.
