Softball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus managed to slip by Highland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Huskies on Friday, falling 21-0. The loss leaves the Wildcats still looking for their first win of the season.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Highland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will welcome Central Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will host West Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
