Baseball Game Preview: Menard Yellowjackets vs. Medina Bobcats

Menard hasn't had much luck against Medina recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Menard will venture away from home to take on Medina at 4:00 p.m. Menard has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Menard is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 26-14 margin over Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Medina gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Leakey 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Medina's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Menard, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Menard took their win against Medina in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Menard since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
