Volleyball Game Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. South Gallia Rebels

The Eastern Eagles will face off against the South Gallia Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Eastern's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while South Gallia has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

On Monday, Eastern came up short against Piketon and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, South Gallia also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Clay by a score of 3-1.

South Gallia was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Clay work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-9, 22-25, 25-22.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for South Gallia, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Eastern took their victory against South Gallia when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
