Baseball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem was the 10-2 winner over Nashua South when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils lost 9-2 to the Purple Panthers on Monday.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Nashua South, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

Coming up, Salem will head out to take on Concord at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nashua South, they will challenge Pinkerton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Astros will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Purple Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
