Volleyball Recap: Huntington Beach Takes a Loss

Huntington Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Yorba Linda Mustangs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Oilers have suffered since November 16, 2024.

Huntington Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Yorba Linda, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntington Beach will head out to challenge Lakewood at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Yorba Linda and Esperanza will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
