Eastmont won the last time they faced Sunnyside and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eastmont Wildcats strolled past the Sunnyside Grizzlies with points to spare, taking the game 58-41. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Grizzlies are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Sunnyside still got an impressive performance from Lili Briones, who posted 23 points and five rebounds. Aryanna Sotelo was another key player, putting up eight points and four blocks.

The win made it two in a row for Eastmont and bumps their season record up to 12-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Sunnyside, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Eastmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-28 victory against Wenatchee on the 11th. As for Sunnyside, they have also already played their next matchup, an 80-26 loss against Davis on the 11th.
