Volleyball Game Preview: Johansen Vikings vs. Ceres Bulldogs

Johansen is 0-5 against Ceres since March of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Vikings will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Johansen is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 23rd straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Beyer.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-8.

Meanwhile, in Friday's Canine Competition, Ceres didn't have enough. They came up short against Livingston on Friday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ceres was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-17.

Johansen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Ceres, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
