Basketball Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Takes a Loss

Amanda-Clearcreek was the 40-37 winner over Hamilton Township when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Amanda-Clearcreek Aces fell to the Hamilton Township Rangers 39-34.

Hamilton Township was led to victory by Alexis Wooten and Jael Haynes-Lee. Wooten posted 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Haynes-Lee dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. That's the most boards Haynes-Lee has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jersey Baker, who had seven points.

Amanda-Clearcreek's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Hamilton Township, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Amanda-Clearcreek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-42 victory against Liberty Union on the 25th. Hamilton Township has also already played their next match, a 44-42 defeat against Circleville on the 22nd.
