Basketball Recap: Digital Harbor Takes a Loss

Digital Harbor lost against Poly back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Digital Harbor Rams were outmatched by the Poly Engineers and fell 77-15. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poly got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexis Smothers out in front who went 6 of 8 en route to 12 points and five steals. That's the most steals Smothers has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Alia Austin, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Digital Harbor now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Poly, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Digital Harbor has already played their next matchup (against Mergenthaler Vo-Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Poly will face off against Carver Vo-Tech on Thursday.
