Basketball Recap: Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Takes a Loss

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic was the 49-47 winner over St. Philip Catholic Central when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers took a 32-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers on Tuesday.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic will challenge Benton Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, they will square off against Galesburg-Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Galesburg-Augusta will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something St. Philip Catholic Central surely won't give up without a fight.
