Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Brady Hespen stepped things up a notch to give Manteno the 'W'. Hespen wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing a base. The contest was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Hespen's strong effort led Manteno over Peotone and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Manteno is 8-2 against Peotone going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
