Softball Recap: Waldron Comes Up Short

Waldron lost against Pottsville on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 14-2 to the Apaches.

Waldron saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Shorts, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Waldron has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Pottsville, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

As of now, neither Waldron nor the Apaches have any future games scheduled.
