Softball Game Preview: Holliday Eagles vs. Graham Steers

Holliday is on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Graham is on a three-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Holliday Eagles will kick their season off against the Graham Steers on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Graham is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Springtown just ended the team's five-game winning streak dating back to last season on Saturday. They fell just short of the Porcupines by a score of 5-4.

Graham's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1.

As for Holliday, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they had a phenomenal run, finishing with a superb 24-9 record.

Everything went Holliday's way against Graham when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Holliday made off with a 6-0 victory. Does Holliday have another victory up their sleeve, or will Graham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
