The Seabreeze Sandcrabs will head out to challenge the Pine Ridge Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Seabreeze's win against Matanzas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Seabreeze narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Matanzas 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Sandcrabs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Seabreeze got a great performance from Brody Harris as he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts Harris has posted since back in February.
On the hitting side, Wrigley Zweifel and Jacob McKinnon did most of the damage at the plate: Zweifel scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while McKinnon went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That's the most hits McKinnon has posted since back in February.
Seabreeze hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Matanzas struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Pine Ridge entered their tilt with Eustis on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against Eustis by a score of 6-3.
Loren Cheatham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sam Figueroa, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Capria, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Pine Ridge pushed their record up to 9-3-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Seabreeze, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Seabreeze has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Pine Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Seabreeze came out on top in a nail-biter against Pine Ridge in their previous meeting on March 5th, sneaking past 1-0. Does Seabreeze have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pine Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
