Baseball Game Preview: Shalom Christian Academy Flames vs. West Shore Christian Academy

Meanwhile, West Shore Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of High Point Baptist Academy.

Jaden Locker and Memphis Barron stepped up to the plate in a big way. Locker went 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Barron got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Kyle Wolfe also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Shalom Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for West Shore Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Shalom Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like West Shore Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
