Basketball Recap: Sandy Valley Cardinals vs. Tuscarawas Valley Trojans

After flying high against Garaway last Saturday, Sandy Valley came back down to earth. The Sandy Valley Cardinals were beaten by the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans 56-11 on Saturday. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Elli Wallick was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine steals for Tuscarawas Valley. Those 16 points gave Wallick a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Bourquin, who posted nine points and three steals.
