Soccer Game Preview: Seton vs. Summit Country Day

The Seton Saints will square off against the Summit Country Day Silver Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Seton's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Summit Country Day's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Seton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Centerville, who was ranked 25th at the time (Seton was ranked 19th). The Saints and the Elks finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The result kept Seton happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 6th.

Meanwhile, Summit Country Day put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let St. Ursula Academy get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Summit Country Day have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit St. Ursula Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abigayle Penote, Hailey Holscher, Zoe Jackson, and Emma Gibson.

Seton's draw makes their record 8-2-5 this season. As for Summit Country Day, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0-1.
