Basketball Recap: Valley Piles Up the Points Against Northland Prep Academy

Valley's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Northland Prep Academy Spartans 50-22. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Spartans are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Northland Prep Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Valley will square off against Round Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northland Prep Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 48-22 victory against BASIS Flagstaff on the 13th.
