Volleyball Recap: Eastern Mennonite Starts Season with Victory Against Christ Chapel Academy

Eastern Mennonite gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Christ Chapel Academy. That's more bragging rights for the Flames, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-7.

Coming up, Eastern Mennonite will challenge Timberlake Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christ Chapel Academy, they will square off against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give Christ Chapel Academy their first taste of in-conference action this season.
