Basketball Game Preview: Lincolnwood Lancers vs. North Mac Panthers

Lincolnwood hasn't had much luck against North Mac recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lincolnwood Lancers are taking a road trip to take on the North Mac Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincolnwood is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Saturday. They were beaten by Mt. Pulaski 50-22. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 625th, while the Hilltoppers are ranked 241st).

Meanwhile, North Mac had to suffer through a 56-28 loss at the hands of Gillespie. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Miners: they've now lost three in a row.

North Mac's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lincolnwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Lincolnwood came up short against North Mac in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 39-26. Can Lincolnwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
