Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Oconomowoc

Oconomowoc came out on top against Mukwonago on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Raccoons took their contest against the Indians 8-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Raccoons, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Kelsey Yambor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, Kamryn Stoltz was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Macy Brazelton was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Oconomowoc hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least one batters in three consecutive games.

Oconomowoc's record now sits at 16-7. As for Mukwonago, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Oconomowoc has already played their next contest, an 11-5 defeat against Beaver Dam on the 17th. As for Mukwonago, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-5 loss against Kettle Moraine on the 19th.
