Holbrook had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Winslow Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. This was payback for the Roadrunners, who suffered a 29-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Among those leading the charge was Simeon Shaw, who rushed for 41 yards and two TDs. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending four passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holbrook will take on St. Johns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winslow, they will challenge Odyssey Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
