Basketball Recap: Oroville Takes a Loss

Oroville was the 70-43 winner over Soap Lake when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Oroville Hornets took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Soap Lake Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Hornets still had to take the loss.

Oroville's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Soap Lake, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

Oroville will face off against Wilson Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Soap Lake, they will be playing at home against Pateros at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
