Basketball Recap: The Pingry School Comes Up Short

If The Pingry School was riding high fresh off their 80-60 takedown of Franklin last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pingry School Big Blue fell 64-56 to the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers on Tuesday. The Big Blue were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 59-43.

Despite the loss, The Pingry School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ryan Rust posted 12 points and five assists.

The Pingry School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Pingry School will face off against Rutgers Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, they will square off against Hunterdon Central at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
