Medfield had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Norton Lancers 4-3 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since May 23, 2024.

Medfield's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Gage, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Alex Zilora also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Medfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Norton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
