Basketball Game Preview: Evans Eagles vs. Hornbeck Hornets

Evans is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 27, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by Simpson and fell 73-40. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Broncos are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Hornbeck was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 51-46 to Ebarb.

Evans' loss dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Hornbeck, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
