Kingsway posted their closest victory since April 13, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Gloucester County Tech, sneaking past 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with Gloucester County Tech: they've now won three in a row.

Killian McCaffrey looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brayden Thorp, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Kingsway now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Gloucester County Tech, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
