After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Worth Country Day, International Leadership of Texas Keller was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Newman International Academy Warriors. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

International Leadership of Texas Keller's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Newman International Academy, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. International Leadership of Texas Keller will head out to face off against Fort Worth Country Day at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newman International Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Nazarene Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
