Volleyball Preview: Stratton Eagles vs. Otis Bulldogs
The Stratton Eagles will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Otis Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Stratton got the win against Limon by a conclusive 3-0.
Stratton never let Limon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Otis was able to grind out a solid victory over Prairie on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
Otis was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-18, 25-15.
Otis kept the net locked down and finished the game with ten blocks. That's the most blocks they've posted since back in November of 2023.
Stratton pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Otis, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
