Barron extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Abby Miller. The Golden Bears walked away with a 3-1 win over the Northwestern Tigers on Thursday thanks in part to Miller, who had 17 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Barron was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 18-25, 25-14, 25-11.

Barron's record is now 21-3. As for Northwestern, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-5.

Coming up, Barron will host Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Bears are facing the Oredockers at the right time seeing as the Oredockers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Northwestern, they will take on Drummond in a tournament on Saturday.
