River Valley's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Alexander on Monday. The River Valley Raiders were the clear victor by a 56-34 margin over the Vinton County Vikings. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

The win got River Valley back to even at 4-4. As for Vinton County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Nelsonville-York at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vinton County, they will host Chillicothe at 7:00 p.m. on December 23rd.
