Soccer Recap: Spring Takes a Loss

Spring managed to keep up with Aldine until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Spring Lions came up short against the Aldine Mustangs, falling 5-1. The Lions have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Spring's goal came courtesy of Emily Mendez, who's now up to 35 this season.

Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Aldine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Spring has already played their next contest (against Westfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Aldine, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Nimitz on the 22nd.
