The Lumberjacks haven't had much luck with the Thunderhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bemidji's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Grand Rapids, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.
