Baseball Game Preview: Granite Hills Cougars vs. Barstow Aztecs

For the second straight game, Granite Hills will face off against Barstow. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Aztecs at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Granite Hills' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Barstow's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Granite Hills is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Barstow on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Aztecs by a score of 3-2.

For Barstow's part, the team relied heavily on Joshya Romero, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Granite Hills dropped their record down to 13-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Barstow, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.
