Baseball Game Preview: Simpson Broncos vs. Ebarb Rebels

Simpson is 9-1 against Ebarb since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Simpson Broncos will venture away from home to face off against the Ebarb Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Simpson hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Simpson lost 14-1 to Oak Hill on Monday.

Meanwhile, while Ebarb put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Mansfield. Everything went Ebarb's way against Mansfield as Ebarb made off with a 20-0 win. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ebarb and bumps their season record up to 5-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23 runs. As for Simpson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Simpson came up short against Ebarb when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 11-6. Can Simpson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
