Big Game from Hawkins As North Rock Creek Won 41-34

Starting off the list is North Rock Creek's Caleb Hawkins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hawkins rushed for 206 yards and four touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards.

North Rock Creek's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2. Hawkins and North Rock Creek will look to defend their home field on Friday against Purcell at 7:00 p.m.

Birdwell Made His Presence Known in Kingfisher's 46-23 Defeat

While Jhett Birdwell delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Kingfisher. Birdwell turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 318 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per attempt.

On the year, Birdwell has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 229.5 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 26.5 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 55.67 rushing yards.

Jordan Mcclain Jr produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Rock Creek to the win on Friday. Mcclain Jr picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
