Baseball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Legacy Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bob Hope Eagles a 5-0 shutout on Saturday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Cj Linscomb made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. Linscomb was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ben Kirkendall, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run. Bryce Blackwell also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
