Basketball Recap: St. Paul Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Knappa, St. Paul was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They snuck past the Southwest Christian Wildcats with a 42-37 win. For the Buckaroos, this counts as revenge for the 44-39 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

St. Paul's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Southwest Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Paul will head out to square off against Nestucca at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against North Clackamas Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Clackamas Christian will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Southwest Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
