Football Recap: Overhills Jaguars vs. Pinecrest Patriots
Overhills had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-4 to make it four. They took a 38-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pinecrest Patriots. Overhills' loss came despite strong showings from Jadyn Goldwire and Gabriel Valenzuela-Sherman. It was another big night for Chris Najm, who rushed for 311 yards and four scores while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 135 rushing yards.
Overhills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-14 loss against Jack Britt on the 17th. As for Pinecrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 57-30 win against Pine Forest on the 17th.
