Basketball Game Preview: Malcolm Clippers vs. Pender Pendragons

The Malcolm Clippers will face off against the Pender Pendragons on Saturday.

Malcolm will head out to face Pender after giving up their first home loss of the season on Thursday. The matchup between Malcolm and Milford didn't end well, with Malcolm falling 52-36. While losing is never fun, the Clippers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Eagles are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Pender put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 69-17 victory over Lyons-Decatur Northeast. The Pendragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Pender pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Malcolm, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
