Baseball Recap: McAlester Takes a Loss

Pryor hit McAlester with a five-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buffaloes took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Buffaloes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

McAlester has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Pryor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-10.

While McAlester had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
