Volleyball Game Preview: Del Sol Dragons vs. Mojave Rattlers

The Del Sol Dragons will take on the Mojave Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Del Sol is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Cimarron-Memorial. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Del Sol can attribute much of their success to Xander Besser, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs Besser has posted since back in April.

Meanwhile, Mojave faced Bishop Gorman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Rattlers put the hurt on the Gaels with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Rattlers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Del Sol's win bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Mojave, their victory bumped their record up to 18-13.

Del Sol took their win against Mojave in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Rattlers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
