Baseball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Cathedral

Harrison faced Cathedral in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders fell 8-3 to the Fighting Irish.

Harrison saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lannon Nicoloff, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Nicoloff has launched this season.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Cathedral, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Harrison and Cathedral will both be playing Carmel the next time they take the field. The Fighting Irish will host the Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
